Mary is a wonderful reading tutor!  She quite literally taught our daughter to read (and write!) beginning from initial phonics-based letter sounds all the way through early reader chapter books.  Mary is caring and attentive to our child’s interests and strengths, while gently and effectively pushing her to achieve new skills beyond what we could have imagined.  Our twice weekly “reading lesson” with Ms. Mary is one of the highlights of my daughter’s week.

Mary has been absolutely amazing! My 6-year-old told me he couldn’t read because there were “master readers” in his class. After asking around, my friend referred Mary to us and within weeks he was able to sound out words on his own and now has the confidence to read out loud. She is patient and warm, and my son LOVES going to his “reading class” each week. Mary has given us helpful tips to practice at home and recommended books and apps to reinforce what he learns.
